Fights

I went home to Bandar yesterday after being gone from there for so long. I still don't dare to stay in Bandar for too long because I am still frightened at the thought of our carjackers being there still. What if they recognized our car? Sigh..

For dinner, after Shiang came to Bandar after work, my sister and her boyfriend and me and Shiang went to Safa for dinner. We noticed there was a bunch people hanging out by their bikes. And the first thought I had was that something was going on. And yep. They were having some disagreements and all about a thief among their group and all. I couldn't understand what was going on but suddenly one part of the group went to the corner of the field and started yelling threats and whatnots. Naturally, everyone in Safa turned their heads towards the commotion. And from what I've learned from the past, we as onlookers should never speak our thoughts aloud unless you want to get dragged into the whole thing. And if you're a girl, your boyfriend would be the one to take the fall for your motor mouth. This girl from my previous school said out loud : They are just a bunch of cowards. And her table was right next to the table where the second half of the rempits/Malays were gathered. This girl has obviously not seen a fight before or she just wants some attention that her boyfriend is not giving. Fucking ho. Her table was on the right of that group and my table was on the left. If anything happened, we might get dragged in as well. And after all the screaming, they sat back down at the table and I thought all went back to normal. Suddenly one guy lost his temper and threw a chair behind my sister's boyfriend. Thank goodness it didn't hit him instead! So after all the throwing and hitting and punching and yelling, we left before things could get any worse. Damn scary okay? To be sitting right next to a bunch of angry people who are ready to kill. One of our friends was among them and he came over to apologise for scaring us with the whole throwing-chairs episode.

He explained that one of the younger members of the group had stolen a handphone and sold it for 27 bucks. The guy he stole it from found out and got angry. I thought it was quite a silly reason to fight for that; why couldn't he just ask the guy to pay him back? Shiang explained that it's not the phone that was the issue. It's the friendship among them. The young fella stole the phone from a friend who is supposed to be a very close friend. So it's more of the betrayal than a mere 27 bucks. Hmm.. So that's the way it goes. Ah well..

This is just one short update. I'll update more soon. (:
